What are your study skills?
I'm in 8th grade Earth Science and we have a HUGE 100 pt. test coming up and I'm so nervous Our teacher gave us this big packet of stuff we need to know, and it's like, 20 pages. So I wanted to know how you would study this stuff. I'm so scared and I've been crying a lot because my grade means a lot to me and I would be so mad if I got a bad grade. So do you have any tips or something. I'm not a good studier because I used to just be able to wing it, but I can't this year. Anyone know some things to help me?Thanks And I don't want to hear " get off the computer" blah blah blah. It's 11 23, and my brain definitely doesn't register stuff at this time of night.

Study skills advice, Math study skills? How to be successful in school? ?
I just started school and I'm really good at all of my classes except Math. It's only the 2nd day and I'm already lost I don't want to make my parents pay for a tutor and none of my friends can help me. I'm sorta shy and I don't want to ask the teacher. Any advice about studying for math or study skills in general? What's your afterschool routine? Thanks you guys < 3
What are good study skills to use for AP classes?
I'm a Junior in High school. I'm currently doing AP Biology & AP English 3 summer homework. This is my first time taking an AP class & I'm REALLY worried. How can I stay on top of my AP classes as well as my regular classes? I know that Junior year is really the MOST important year in high school and I cannot screw this up. My freshman year I had a 3.8 first semester and a 4.0 second semester. My sophomore year I had a 3.3 first semester I really screwed up and my second semester I got a 3.8. I want to have at least a GPA of 3.8 in both semesters of Junior year but I don't know how I can maintain good grades in all 8 classes including the 2 AP classes.

AP Euro exam study skills?
So my AP exam is tomorrow and I've been reviewing little by little for the past 2 3 weeks. In the past, for some reason, I do super bad if I study basically ANYTHING the night before a test and I have no idea why. It's like I focus so much on remembering the stuff I studied that I make a lot of stupid mistakes, etc. But is it really a good idea to just sit here and do nothing the day before my AP exam...? I want a 5 but...the practice tests I've taken all have predicted a 4...
Why does everybody hate Study Skills?

How can I improve my studying skills? An effective way to learn more? Any tips?
I want to study more effectively. I study repeating and writing definitions down, saying them, reviewing my notes. But I have noticed that I am forgetting what I read and constantly looking back at my previous notes to review them which is making it hard to move on to another section. It takes many repetitions to really memorize it and it wasn't this hard for me before. I would usually just sit in class and listen, and I wouldn't have to study... So any tips on how to improve my studying skills?
